Generalization. Results. What influence does the character, temperament of a person have on handwriting and what characterological features are guided by scientists "yesterday" (Aristotle, Theophrastus, Jean Hippolyte Michon, K. Jung, A. Lazursky, S.L. Rubinstein, Z. Freud and others) and "today" (Z.V. Sikevich, S.G. Ter-Minasova, D.M. Zuev-Insarov, D.A. Meanings, etc.), endowing a person with specific, essential characteristics. It is possible to determine the character not only by the behavior, intelligence of a person, his abilities, willpower, emotionality, appearance, but also by the handwriting, which contains many indicative features of his character. It is the study of the "hidden metaphor" of the essence of a person, his individual, as well as the authenticity of fingerprints, handwriting puts the last point in the investigations of serious crimes, identifying the character. Linguistic and graphological analysis is one of the most important facets of the inner content of human nature and its behavioral intentions, and handwriting is a "hidden metaphor" of its essence.

The aim is to study closing gestures on control questions when hiding information. Methods and techniques. Structured questionnaire and clinical interview, FACS Facial Movement Coding System, auditory speech analysis, observation method. Result. Respondents demonstrated markers of visual stress, experienced the emotion of fear and showed it in FACS microexpressions. Markers of fading to the threat of exposure were noted in all subjects in single and mixed variants. Covering/closing of the body on 4 control questions in 20 malingerers and 20 persons involved in the crime was observed in 65 and 71 motor acts and substitution movements. With the distortion and generalization of the information presented in the non-verbal production of the respondents, various variations of body defense movements in response to the control question appeared. Conclusion. The selected motor acts in non-verbal behavior during the concealment of information were differentiated into an independent pantomimic group - “closing gestures”. The appearance of this gesticulation to the control questions of a survey conversation and interviews with involved persons and simulators is due to a stressful state and fear of exposure, which are accompanied by a freezing reaction to a negative stimulus.

The aim of the article was to study the interrelationships between the components of psychological well-being and the protective mechanisms of personality. Methods. To study the psychological well-being of the sample subjects, we used the Riff Scale of Psychological Well-Being, RPWB (adaptation by T.D. Shevelenkov, T.P. Fesenko), and for the study of protective mechanisms – the Questionnaire "Life Style Index" (Life Style Index, LSI) (R. Plutchik, H. Kellerman, H. Conte) in L.I. Wasserman's adaptation. Correlation analysis (according to Spearman) was used to identify the connections between the studied parameters. Results. The analysis of the results showed the presence of stable relationships between the components of psychological well-being and psychological defenses of the individual. Conclusions. A high level of psychological well-being is interconnected with the protective mechanisms of denial, projection and substitution. Indicators on the "denial" scale of the LSI methodology positively correlate with all components of psychological well-being, while indicators of the relationship of the components of well-being with all other protective mechanisms have inverse values.
