Music Therapy in Complex Neurorehabilitation of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

Abstract
The aim of the paper is to study the possibilities of using music therapy in complex neurorehabilitation of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Methods. Existing methods of music therapy aimed at developing cognitive and social skills in children with ASD, as well as correcting emotional disorders, are analyzed.
Results. Practical recommendations for the use of musical-rhythmic exercises, vocal and instrumental activities to improve communication abilities and cognitive functions are presented. Special attention is paid to the integration of music technologies into educational and rehabilitation programs.
Conclusions. It is revealed that music therapy is an effective tool in working with children with ASD and contributes to their socialization and improvement in quality of life.
