Scientific Knowledge as a Basis of the Students’ Worldview Development in the Process of Physical Geography Learning

Abstract

The aim of the article is to examine the methods of scientific knowledge of physical geography formation during physical geography lessons and out-of-school activities. Methods. Observation, questionnaire survey, pedagogical experiment. Result. As a result of carrying the lessons-practicum system, implementation of innovative technologies, methods and techniques the scientific knowledge formation and its further transformation into the scientific worldview takes place. Conclusion. The novelty of the training material content, updating of learned knowledge, its practical significance are the effective incentives for the development of interest in worldview knowledge and cognitive activity of the pupils as a whole.
