FORMING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE SCHOOLCHILDREN’S SCIENTIFIC WORLD-VIEW IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING THE PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY

Abstract

The value of the scientific world-view at the present stage is in the fact that it helps both perceive the objective world and modify it if necessary. The authors of the article consider this problem in relation with the physical geography, contributing to the formation of pupils ' correct scientific understanding of the wide range of facts, phenomena, processes, peculiar for the geographical sphere, natural complexes and public production, and most importantly, dialectic materialistic understanding of the links between them.
