Olympiad Movement as a Condition for the Training of a Future Teacher (by the Example of Russian Language Teachers)

Abstract

The aim of this article is to substantiate the possibility of transferring the experience of holding olympiads (competitions) in the Russian language for bachelors by flagship universities to the practice of regional universities.

Methods. The study of scientific literature on the problem of organizing and conducting olympiads on the basis of a higher educational institution, analysis of the materials of the olympiads, analysis and generalization of the findings.

Results. The functions of modern national education and methods of their implementation through university olympiads are presented. The materials of the Olympiads in the Russian language, organized by state universities and private organizations, have been studied.

Conclusion. The experience of holding olympiads in the Russian language for undergraduate and specialist students can be extended to regional universities.
