Статья посвящена такой проблеме, как использование ролевых игр в коммуникативно-ориентированном обучении иностранному языку. Рассматривается роль дискуссионной игры как одной из наиболее эффективных форм групповой работы в процессе обучения иностранному языку. Автор также раскрывает содержание ролевых игр и их обучающие возможности, в частности, дискуссионной ролевой игры.

The article deals with the problem of using the role-plays in communicative-oriented teaching the foreign language. The author considers the role of discussion-play as one of the most effective methods of working in groups in the process of teaching the foreign language. She also tells about the matter of the role -plays and explains the teaching opportunities of the role-plays, in particular, the discussion role-play.
